A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted electronic device that provides access to sound for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss who receive little to no benefit from traditional hearing aids.
At Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, our audiologists evaluate, program (map), and manage the audiologic care of patients using cochlear implants.
If you believe your hearing loss may be severe enough to benefit from a cochlear implant, we encourage you to schedule a Cochlear Implant Evaluation. Please note: A doctor’s referral is required before we can schedule this evaluation.
Important Note
We only provide audiologic care for patients using Cochlear Americas cochlear implants.
If you use a cochlear implant from another manufacturer (e.g., MED-EL or Advanced Bionics), please reach out directly to your manufacturer for support and a list of local providers.
