Our Commitment
At Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, our Rehabilitation Therapy team is passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve. Our mission is to deliver high-quality therapeutic services that empower, uplift, and transform. We understand that no two people are alike, and that’s why we focus on individualized care from the moment someone walks through our doors.
Our approach begins with comprehensive screenings and evaluations, where we take the time to understand each client’s specific challenges and strengths. From there, we work closely with clients and their families to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their developmental needs, therapeutic goals, and lifestyle. This patient-centered model allows us to foster progress that is meaningful and sustainable.
We are proud to offer services that support clients across the lifespan—from infants and toddlers just beginning to explore their world, to adults and seniors navigating new physical or communication challenges. Every step of the way, we are guided by compassion, clinical excellence, and a deep respect for the people we serve.
Our Expert Team
Our multidisciplinary team of licensed clinicians brings extensive knowledge, professional certifications, and a shared commitment to excellence in rehabilitation therapy and care.
- Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) on our team are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)—a nationally recognized professional credential that ensures high standards in diagnosis and treatment.
- Occupational Therapists (OTs) are certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and are equipped to support a wide range of developmental and physical needs.
- Physical Therapists (PTs) maintain certification through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), specializing in both rehabilitative and habilitative care for children and young adults.
All of our therapists are licensed in the State of Georgia and actively pursue continuing education to stay current with the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and innovations in patient care. This commitment to lifelong learning ensures that every client receives evidence-based, effective, and modern treatment.
We also believe in collaborative care. Our therapists regularly consult with one another to provide a holistic, team-based approach that considers the full scope of a person’s needs—whether physical, sensory, communicative, or cognitive.

At Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, we understand how deeply communication shapes connection, learning, and confidence. That’s why our speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide compassionate, individualized therapy to help clients of all ages find their voice—and use it effectively.
Whether you’re a parent concerned about your child’s speech development or an adult recovering communication skills after a stroke or injury, you are not alone. Our team is here to support, guide, and walk with you each step of the way.
Our SLPs treat a wide range of speech, language, and feeding/swallowing challenges, including:
- Speech sound delays and articulation disorders
- Language comprehension and expression issues
- Stuttering and fluency challenges
- Voice and resonance disorders
- Dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)
- Communication issues linked to autism, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other conditions
We begin with a thorough evaluation to understand each client’s unique profile, then develop a customized therapy plan built around their goals. For families, we provide regular updates, at-home practice strategies, and a clear roadmap for progress. We believe that family involvement is key to lasting success, and we’re here to ensure you feel equipped, informed, and supported.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy: Empowering Daily Life Through Play
Children learn and grow through doing—and our Pediatric Occupational Therapy services are designed to help them participate in life with greater independence and joy. We serve infants, toddlers, children, and teens who are facing challenges in motor skills, sensory processing, or cognitive development.
At Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, we believe that caregivers are the most important partners in a child’s progress. From the very first session, we work closely with families to build trust and create a therapy plan that’s meaningful, playful, and aligned with your child’s everyday life.
If you’re wondering whether your child’s development is on track, you’re not alone. Many parents come to us with questions or concerns about coordination, fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory sensitivities, or self-care abilities. These concerns are valid—and our occupational therapists are here to listen and support you.
We use play-based, developmentally appropriate strategies to build:
- Fine motor and hand skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Visual-motor integration and eye-hand coordination
- Executive functioning, attention, and self-regulation
- Self-care and daily living skills (dressing, feeding, hygiene)
Every rehabilitation therapy plan is personalized to your child’s strengths and needs. We also collaborate with our speech-language pathologists and physical therapists when a team-based approach will help your child thrive.
You’ll leave each session with insight, encouragement, and tools to support your child at home—because you are essential to their success, and we’re here to help you feel empowered every step of the way.

Pediatric Physical Therapy: Supporting Movement, Building Confidence
At Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, we believe that movement is more than muscle—it’s independence, participation, and joy. Our Pediatric Physical Therapy services help infants through young adults (up to age 21) gain strength, mobility, balance, and confidence in the way they move through the world.
We also know that parents often come to us with worries—Is my baby rolling over on time? Why isn’t my toddler walking yet? Is my child’s posture or coordination typical? These concerns are common and understandable. You are not alone, and our physical therapists are here to support you with both expertise and compassion.
From your child’s first visit, we focus on building trust, understanding their unique needs, and making you a central part of the process. We believe that rehabilitation therapy works best when families and clinicians work as a team.
Our pediatric physical therapists address a range of developmental and rehabilitative needs, including:
- Delayed motor milestones (rolling, crawling, walking)
- Muscle tone imbalances or tightness
- Poor coordination or balance
- Orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions
- Post-surgical recovery
- Diagnoses like cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and more
Treatment sessions are play-based, fun, and goal-directed, designed to engage your child while making meaningful progress. And you’ll never feel left out—our therapists provide clear communication, home exercises, and guidance so you feel confident and equipped to support your child’s development every day.
