At Savannah Speech and Hearing Center, Jenn Jones, a pediatric physical therapist and Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist, is stepping in to offer support one milestone at a time through free classes designed specifically for our youngest learners and their caregivers.

The first year of life is packed full of milestones.  Just as a parent is adjusting to life with a baby, skills such as lifting your head in tummy time or sitting happen for the first time.  There are even mini triumphs between these achievements, such as reaching on their belly or grabbing their legs on their back.  Often, babies need a little support to build the strength and coordination required to reach those goals.  This can be as simple as making environmental adjustments or trying different positions to meet these skills.
