The Hammond for Hope Benefit for Sound Start

The 2023 Hammond for Hope Benefit for Sound Start is an annual event that helps enable the continuation and growth of Sound Start, our early intervention, auditory/verbal program for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and make use of either cochlear implants or hearing aids as listening devices. Sound Start is an intensive, multi-year program that helps these children use their technology to it’s greatest possible extent, learning to listen and speak, so they may be mainstreamed into a typical elementary school classroom.
